the importance of Continuous Learning.
From studying law to practising Intellectual Property across different organisations and jurisdictions, each chapter has
broadened my understanding of innovation, brand protection, and the evolving role of Intellectual Property in today's
global economy.

My professional journey began with studying law at the School of Excellence - The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University,
where I built a strong foundation in legal principles, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
Driven by a growing interest in Intellectual Property and the protection of innovation, I pursued a
Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Laws, which I successfully completed in
2010. This specialised programme broadened my understanding of trademarks, patents, copyrights, and
other areas of Intellectual Property, complementing my legal education and strengthening my interest in this field.
Alongside my academic journey, I gained practical legal experience through my practice at the Madras High Court. This
early exposure to legal practice enhanced my analytical skills, attention to detail, and appreciation for the legal
profession.
Together, my legal education, specialised postgraduate studies in Intellectual Property, and practical legal
experience laid the foundation for my future career as an Intellectual Property Professional.

Relocating to Singapore marked a significant milestone in my professional journey, offering the opportunity to work
in one of Asia's leading Intellectual Property environments. It was a new chapter that exposed me to international
clients, diverse industries, and the complexities of protecting Intellectual Property across multiple jurisdictions.
As a Trademark Secretary, I gained valuable experience supporting trademark prosecution, portfolio administration, and
the coordination of filing and prosecution activities across different countries. Working closely with legal
professionals, clients, and foreign associates strengthened my understanding of international trademark procedures and
the importance of accuracy, organisation, and effective communication.
This experience broadened my perspective on Intellectual Property practice and sparked a lasting interest in
trademarks, global brand protection, and the strategic role Intellectual Property plays in supporting businesses and
innovation worldwide. It also provided a strong foundation for the responsibilities I would take on in the years
ahead.
📈 Growing Through Experience

Stepping into the role of Trademark Executive marked an important stage in my professional development, allowing me to
take on greater responsibilities and become more actively involved in managing Intellectual Property matters.
During this period, I worked on a wide range of trademark matters, including prosecution, portfolio management,
international filings, and supporting brand protection strategies across multiple jurisdictions. Each matter presented
unique challenges that enhanced my technical knowledge, strengthened my analytical and problem-solving abilities, and
deepened my appreciation for the commercial value of Intellectual Property.
Working with clients from diverse industries further broadened my understanding of how trademarks contribute to
business growth, innovation, and long-term brand value. This phase of my career reinforced the importance of
continuous learning, adaptability, and attention to detail, while preparing me for leadership opportunities and more
complex responsibilities in the field of Intellectual Property.

Joining Biro Oktroi Roosseno marked an exciting new chapter in my professional journey, providing the opportunity to
broaden my exposure to regional and international Intellectual Property practice. Working within a firm with a strong
presence across Asia enabled me to gain a deeper appreciation of the diverse legal frameworks, business environments,
and cultural perspectives that shape Intellectual Property protection across different jurisdictions.
As an IP Manager, I became involved in a wider range of Intellectual Property matters, supporting trademark portfolio
management, international filings, and cross-border collaboration with clients, colleagues, and foreign associates.
These experiences strengthened my ability to manage complex matters, coordinate across multiple jurisdictions, and
deliver practical solutions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
This stage of my career reinforced the importance of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. It
also broadened my understanding of how Intellectual Property contributes to business strategy, innovation, and the
protection of valuable brand assets in an increasingly interconnected global marketplace. The experience prepared me

Today, I continue to build upon the experiences gained throughout my professional journey while supporting
international trademark practice and collaborating with clients, colleagues, and professionals across multiple
jurisdictions. Every new matter presents an opportunity to deepen my understanding of Intellectual Property,
strengthen professional relationships, and contribute to the protection of brands in an evolving global environment.
In addition to my professional responsibilities, I remain committed to continuous learning and professional
development. Participating in international conferences, engaging with professional organisations, exploring
emerging technologies, and exchanging knowledge with practitioners from around the world have become integral parts
of my career. These experiences allow me to stay informed about developments in Intellectual Property and broaden my
perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the profession.
As the Intellectual Property landscape continues to evolve alongside technological advancement and global
